GebField: AI platform to support farmers 🌱
Sensors, soil tests, equipment, suppliers — farmers have to connect all of these themselves. GebField, part of ATOM Green Capital, is developing one system to bring them together.
Six areas come together in one GebField system:
🟢 Sense & Fleet — hardware for monitoring and fieldwork. Sensors, cameras, and satellites collect farm data. Robots and drones support field operations. The system helps plan tasks and record results.
🟢 SoilHealth — recommendations for healthier soil. Helps farmers plan regenerative practices for each field, using soil tests, moisture levels, and crop history.
🟢 Market — supplies and services. Helps source seeds, materials, equipment, and services for planned work — considering costs and delivery times.
🟢 FinOps — funding support. Helps find suitable support programs and prepare applications. Funding decisions remain with the organization providing support.
🟢 Carbon — carbon accounting. Brings together fieldwork records and test results for calculations and independent review.
Farm data will come together in one place. AI will help farmers understand what needs attention and what actions they could take.
The team is currently developing these capabilities and connecting them within the system.
✅ The Grove robot is already in beta. The team is developing it to haul loads and handle routine orchard tasks.
